AtomicPupXIX is the first update to AtomicPup-18 a Puppy Linux spin based upon 01micko's Slacko5.7. AtomicPupXIX is intended to be used with Intel Atom CPU's especially those in Netbooks that were sold 2008 to 2011. As such its a 32-bit distro nonPAE.
Installed is FreeOffice 6.97 (pre Win-10). If you don't need a spreadsheet or word-processor, it can be deleted by removing all files in /opt, and by removing the root/.softmaker files. Simple.
Installation is recommended to a USB-stick. GParted can size a small portion (768Mb or 1Gb) so there is room to store your favorite stuff. When installing, its recommended to use ext3 as the file-type for both the USB-stick and the save-file. This is very stable. The size of the save is usually 256Mb, and you won't need a swap-file.
Its a very small, and potent little Pup (occupies about 450Mb). It does a lot of simple on-line things easily. Many thanks to Barry K. for Puppy, 01micko for SlackoPuppy-5.7, and the rest of the Puppy community for making this all possible.
